In collaboration with design studio Thonik, Bold Monday recently had the pleasure to design a custom type family for this fabled, international cultural festival — the Holland Festival. Milton Glaser inspired us to go a little overboard with this stencil design. Countless ligatures play with legibility and conventions, cutting parts of letterforms off while connecting others. (They do make for some interesting posters though.)
